You may request deletion of your LearnSnap account and associated data at any time — even after you have uninstalled the app. Two methods are available.
In-app Method
If the in-app option is available in your installed version, you can delete your account directly inside the app:
Open LearnSnap AI → Profile → Account → Delete Account
Note: If the Delete Account option is not visible in your installed version, it may not yet be available. Please use the web request method below instead.
Web Request by Email
Send a deletion request email to us. This method works even if you have already uninstalled the app.

Copy the template below into your email. Fill in what applies to you.
Subject: LearnSnap Account Deletion Request To the LearnSnap AI team, I am writing to request deletion of my LearnSnap AI account and data. -- My account details -- Google-linked email (if applicable): [YOUR EMAIL] Approximate account creation date (if known): [DATE OR "Unknown"] -- Request type (keep one) -- [ ] Delete my account and all associated data [ ] Delete selected data only (describe below) -- Description (optional) -- [Explain what you would like deleted, if selecting partial deletion] -- Confirmation -- I confirm that I am the owner of this LearnSnap account and I intentionally request the above deletion. Never include your Google password, LearnSnap access or refresh tokens, payment-card details, device password, or any private authentication credentials in your deletion request.
Identity Verification
To protect users, we may request reasonable information to verify that the requester controls the relevant LearnSnap account. We will only ask for information that is necessary to identify your account.
What Is Normally Deleted
Upon verifying and processing an eligible deletion request, we will work to delete or anonymise:
- Your linked account record
- The Google identity association tied to your account
- Your guest installation association
- Active authentication sessions and tokens
- Eligible server-side profile information
- Eligible account-linked data stored on our servers
- Credit or entitlement records where legally and technically permitted
Local Device Data
Our servers cannot remotely erase data stored locally on your device. To remove locally stored LearnSnap data from your Android device:
Settings → Apps → LearnSnap AI → Storage → Clear Data
Alternatively, uninstalling the app will remove locally stored application data from that device.
Records We May Retain
Even after a deletion request is processed, we may need to retain limited records for the following reasons, as required or permitted by law:
- Fraud prevention and security
- Legal obligations (tax records, regulatory requirements)
- Dispute resolution
- Compliance with applicable laws
Any such retained records will be kept only for as long as necessary and will not be used to provide services to you.
Processing Timeline
We aim to review and process verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to verify the request.
Confirmation
Once your deletion request has been processed, we will send a confirmation to the email address you provided in your request.
